The Erasmus+ project ToxLearn4EU was presented at the 52nd Congress of the European Environmental Mutagenesis and Genomics Society (EEMGS), held in Rovinj (Croatia) from September 23 to 27, 2024. Representing the entire project consortium, Dr. Óscar Herrero from the National University of Distance Education (UNED, Spain) introduced the initiative to an international audience of scientists and educators in the field of environmental mutagenesis and genomic research.
The presentation highlighted ToxLearn4EU’s commitment to modernizing toxicology and environmental health education through innovative teaching methods, digital tools, and cross-institutional collaboration. Attendees learned about the project’s key activities, including interactive learning materials, problem-based case studies, and summer schools aimed at training the next generation of professionals in toxicology.
The congress provided a valuable opportunity to disseminate the project’s objectives and foster synergies with related initiatives across Europe.
